About: English Scots for Yes is an independence-supporting campaign group, for English and English-Scots voters in Scotland.  Formed before the referendum in 2014, the group aims to persuade english-born and English-Scots families across Scotland of the merits of independence.  The group also seeks to put to bed the seemingly undying lie perpetrated by right-wing elements of the unionist media that Scottish independence is in some form anti-English — a charge vehemently and passionately denied by the groups members, many of whom were born and raised in England. As the wider “Yes” movement gears up for a possible second referendum, English Scots for Yes will be at the forefront once again, looking to influence the 700,000+ English and English-Scots voters across the country that independence is needed for Scotland to thrive.
